Day 5 - Alison Shanks rides a Personal best time to qualify for GOLD

Alison Shanks (NZL) rode her fastest time ever to qualify in the gold ride off against her British rival Wendy Houvenaghel. Houvenaghel was .013 outside her own personal best time (set in semi-finals Beijing). n the battle for the bronze medal, Amy Cure (AUS) will ride against compatriot Ashley Ankudinoff. Cure was the World Junior Pursuit record holder. Both Cure and Ankudinoff set personal best times.
