Stage 5 - Teutenberg wins again. Becker retains overall Bergeijk 126.7km Ina-Yoko Teutenberg (Specialized - lululemon) won the bunch sprint from the breakaway group, to secure her second win the the Brainwash Holland Ladies Tour 2012. Shelley Olds (AA-Drink) was second ahead of Sara Mustonen (Hitec Products - Mistral Home). 30 km from the stage start, two riders slipped away from the peloton. The breakaway was initiated by the most combative rider Nina Kessler (Dolmans-Boels) and Judith Flower (Restore), they were joined by a group of 14 chasers. After slightly more than one hour of racing, the winning break had solidified.Teutenberg, Olds and Mustoned were in the 16 rider break that also included, Liesbeth de Vocht (Rabo Women), Amy Pieters (Skil-Argos), Nina Kessler (Dolmans-Boels), Bianca van den Hoek (Specialized DPD), Else Belmans (Belgium), Lisa Fischer (Germany), Beatrice Bartelloni (Italy), Moniek Tenniglo (Jan van Arckel), Vera Koedooder (Sengers Ladies) and Chantal Blaak (AA-Drink). With 2km to go Liesbet de Vocht (Rabo Women) tried to get away but she was caught within sight of the line. Charlotte Becker (Specialized-lululemon) finished in the bunch as Marianne Vos (Rabo Women) brought the bunch home 39 seconds back. Becker held on to her overall lead. Vos secured a couple of bonus seconds early on reducing the gap to Becker to 24 seconds. Comments Marianne Vos (Rabo Women) still hopes that she can achieve her fourth victory in a row. "I have worked hard for a week, hopefully I can finish it in Limburg. The ride itself is a good preparation for the World Championships in Limburg, later this month, partly on the same parcours, but I I still hope to win this contest first, " said Vos Ina-Yoko Teutenberg (Specialized-lululemon) won her fourteenth stage victory in the Dutch stage race, creating a record in the Ladies Tour. "At the beginning of the season I said to want to quit, but I doubt now again. Maybe I'll come back again next year and I try again to win, " said Teutenberg.
