Stage 1 -Slappendel wins opening ITT

Middelburg - Middelburg, 5.4km - Indiviudal time trial

Race Writeup

Iris Slappendel (Rabo Women)  took the opening individual time trial in dry, sunny conditions, with a moderate wind in Middelburg, to lead the first stage of this 8th running of RaboSter Zeeuwsche Eilanden. Amy Pieters (Skil-Argos) held on for second just ahead of Australian Jessie Maclean.

Slappendel leads overall.
