BePink team meets for first time The latest addition to Italian cycling, the BePink team, is meeting for the first time, following its formation by Walter Zini. Italian, Zini, who was most recently involved in the management of Top Girls Fassa Bortolo, spent much of the 2011 season recruiting riders, staff and sponsors to this brand new UCI registered team. The most recent rider to be recruited, Noemi Cantele, after the early demise of Garmin Cervelo, completes a list of mainly Italian and Eastern European riders. Also in the list is German National team member, Elke Gebhardt. The four day get-together, held in Cervinia in Italy, presents an opportunity for riders and staff to begin working as a unit and to develop some unity as well as to get to know each other and for riders and staff to work together to develop training and racing plans for the forthcoming season. The meeting takes place from 14th December - 18th December
