Anna Meares (AUS) won her third gold of the competition is a strong Keirin. Kaarle McCulloch (Jayco AIS) finished strong to win Silver ahead of Clara Sanchez (France).

Anna Meares (AUS) was completely spent after winning her third gold of the competition. "I have nothing left." said Meares as she sat to wait for the throng of media interviews. After some recovery, she reflected on the result.
