Stage 2 - HTC Highroad win Team Time Trial

Race Writeup -Brief

HTC Highroad arrived in France with one of the strongest teams and they proved they were today in Stage 2 of the 2011 Trophee d'Or. HTC Highroad won the short 7.6km Team Time Trial ahead of Nederland Bloeit and AA Drink. 

HTC-Highroad finished thirteen seconds ahead of Nederland bloeit, and had four girls in contention for the GC going into stage three.

Ina Yoko Teutenberg continues to hold the leaders jersey into stage 3.

Ronny Lauke (Sport Director HTC Highroad) was positive about the teams victory, "The time trial was a very technical city circuit," said Lauke, "We had a good recon yesterday morning and came up with a good strategy for the race."

"We were pretty specific in our planning, we decided at the recon who would pull on each section and so forth. It worked quite well and at each check point we had two seconds ahead of the next best time."
