The 2010 Trofeo Binda will be launched on Tuesday, March 16th at 11:00 am within the beautiful Villa Recalcati, in Piazza della Libertà 1 in Varese .

Organisers, Cycling Sport Promotion and the Province of Varese invite fans and media to partake of their full day of activities for the launch of the 12th trofeo Alfredo Binda, the first round of the UCI World Cup series for women. The race itself takes place in Cittiglio (VA) on Sunday, March 28. The launch will be an opportunity to find out all the details of the 2010 event. 

Cycling Sport Promotion promises to amaze with a programme that, beginning on Friday 26 March, will create anticipation and enthusiasm for Sunday's race. Indeed, they promise that Trofeo Binda will entertain all tastes, not only just sports fans. In addition to sports, the Trofeo Binda engages music, colors and sounds of the Varese area. But it does not stop there because the race is inspiring muses of poetry and graphic abilities of schoolchildren in the territory of Cittiglio and neighboring cities.   

So, looking forward to Cittiglio it will be possible to see, hear and appreciate music of local bands with their wealth of strong traditions and popular culture. Just as in 2009, there will be a guard of honor from the Italian Army for the team presentation. 

The sport and spectacle are provide the basis for the first international congress of the history of cycling women. This will be held on Friday, March 26th at Ville Ponti di Varese with the cooperation of the Union Cycliste Internationale, Federazione Ciclistica Italiana, Insubria University, Province of Varese, Varese Comercial Chamber and the Tourism Agency of Varese.  

All the details of all of these events will be presented at the launch of the Trofeo Binda - World Cup, Tuesday 16 march at 11.00 am, the official presentation at Villa Recalcati, city of Varese
