Maxgear confirmed as sponsor for Vision 1 Cycling products company joins Vision 1 project Riders will test equipment to assist development Maxgear.co.uk has announced a new sponsorship deal with Vision 1 Racing. Maxgear will be one of the team's official equipment suppliers for the next two seasons. Vision 1 Racing was formed by Nicole Cooke who wanted to create a team that would give her the opportunity to continue working with her support staff who helped her in 2008 become Olympic and World Champion. However, at the same time the plan is to work with the next generation of talented riders to try and build up a strong team and help each rider reach their full potential. 'I'm really excited about the opportunity to work with Maxgear. They're extremely forward thinking and are very interested in our input into product development and their range' commented Team Manager Stefan Wyman on the new partnership. Wayne Greenhalgh of Maxgear added that its sponsorship of Vision1 provided an excellent platform for Maxgear to announce its arrival in the fast growing cycle industry. To help promote the fantastic new products, Maxgear will provide products to all of the riders. The products being used by Vision 1 Racing includes a revolutionary new range of compression clothing, helmets, sunglasses, luggage, saddles and pumps. Maxgear views the sponsorship as an excellent opportunity to work with a team that is both ambitious and eager to aid its product development. The brand already sponsors the Belgium based Sean Kelly An Post professional team and several leading British Cycling registered teams - Maxgear RT and Sportcity Velo.
