Norwegian team trains in the Netherlands Team Hitec Products UCK train in Netherlands, use indoor velodrome A late season training camp for the team was held outside Rotterdam, Netherlands in December. It was, according to the team management, an important preparation for the rest of the pre-season, concluding with camps in Grand Canaria in January, and Toscana in March.The camp included a visit by Norwegian national coach Steffen Kiaergaard, who was in the Netherlands to watch the individual testing of the riders at a clinic in Zwolle. Saturday of the short, weekend, camp was used for a long slow ride in the Rotterdam area. Team Hitec UCK were not the only team with pre-season arrangements; Leontien.nl, another UCI team were staying in the same hotel. Sunday was taken up with training on the track of the indoor velodrome in Apeldoorn. This was the first time the new girls Nathalie Lamborelle (ex Team Uniqua-Elk) and Lisa Brennauer (ex Equipe Nurnberger) met the team.
