Zinaida Starhuskaya in fatal crash Belarussian killed in training accident Ex-World Champion, Zinaida Starhuskaya, has been killed in a training accident. The Belarussian was motorpacing behind her coach's car when another vehicle crossed into their path. The 38 year old was unable to avoid the vehicle and is reported to have died instantly. Starhuskaya had returned to competition in 2007after a doping related suspension. She won the World Championships in 2000, but was suspended from competition for doping offences during 2002, 2004 and for two years 2005 through to 2007.
