Keirin- Shuang Guo (China) wins World Champions jersey.

Final 1-6

.The surprise of the final was that British champion Victoria Pendleton had not qualified for the final. It was a tough race and Guo managed to squeeze across the line ahead of Clara Sanchez (FRA) and Willy Kanis (NED).

7-12 Place

Cuban Lisandra Rodriguez Guerra won the battle of the minor places. It was a tough race that saw the Cuban hold the inside line right to the finish.

Second Round

Shuang Guo (CHN) and Clara Sanchez (FRA) both secured their placed in the final after dominating each of their races.
