Details

Three days dedicated to the World of Women starts in Cittiglio today, 27 March. The three days will conclude on Sunday after the completion of the Alfredo Binda World Cup event. The event oganised by Cycling Promotion Sport, will be presented by the President Mario Minervino. The three days of sport, show, entertainment, art and culture in dedication to the love of cycling, was started by Alfredo Binda. 

There is a rich and interesting programme of events to enjoy over the three days. 

The programme is as follows:

27 March

20.00: Opening of the Village Trades, musical Entertainment, Brasserie to the Village hours 

20.30: Inauguration of the "PHOTOGRAPHIC EXTENSION" of Roberto Bettini  

21.00: Folk Group concert " TENCITT" and a presentation of the “STRAordinariCICLI” which shows the invention of Drais to the bicycles of the champions of today. 

28 March

15.30: Entertainment with the " Dancing-school Atletic Dance" , distribution of the merenda to the children 

17.00: Musical Exhibition group “WORKS IN PROGRESS” 

18.00: Presentation of the Teams in the in public square Cittiglio 

18.00: Sangria Party in public square Binda to Cittiglio offered by the locals 

21.00: Concert Rock Music “WORK” to the village trades them hours

22.00/22.30: Fireworks Show

29 March

10,30: Raising of the flap in honour of the Italian army and a parade Fanfara dell' Italian army hours  

10,30: Chorus children " Hymn of Cittiglio" accompanied by the local band 

12,30/13,20: Teams start to arrive to get ready for the departure of the UCI World Cup 

13.30: The first of the 2009 UCI World Cup races start 

14.00: Starting at the school a parade of the women's provincial band from Anbima who won the "Fotografico" competition. Entertainment, music and culture till the race finishes. 

15.30: " CITTIGLIO" Hymn, composed and sung by the children and accompanied by the local band 

16.45: Expected finish time and presentation of winner.
