Preview 2009 Trofeo Binda event held in Cittiglio
Women cyclists, past and
present met in Cittiglio on 7th March for "Bikes & Mimosa".
The event was a social event of cycling chat, organised by Ciclismo
magazine and Sports Promotion, the Trofeo Binda (UCI World Cup round 1)
organisers Problems of the past, fortunately, thanks to the strong and determination of some of the participants of the evening are fading to an extent. The heroines of pedal from the 1950s and 1960s provided anecdotes into a beautiful story in which they played an important role, building the base from which more modern competitors have continued to race and at the same strive for equality in the sport.
Italian starts, past and present were in attendance for the evening.
