Fennix
saw the return of Sveltana Bubnenkova to their team and to racing and
enjoyed their first major win of the 2009 season. Bubnenkova had not raced
since mid 2008 and showed her time out of the spot light had been well
spent. The course was challenging and tested the riders. A breakaway in the
final stages however secure that it would be a sprint for the line between
Bubnenkova, Grave Verbeke (Lotto Belisol) and Iris Slappendel (Team
Flexpoint).
