Carla Ryan joins Cervelo Lifeforce
Australian former TT Champion joins Swiss team Former Australian TT Champion, Carla Ryan, has signed for the Cervelo Lifeforce team for the remainder of 2008. The young Australian joins other time trial specialists, Kristin Armstrong, Christiane Soeder and Karin Thürig on the Swiss-based team. She will have compatriot, Emma Rickards for company too. Her first race in the distinctive black and red jersey will be the “Grande Boucle Féminine International” in France in mid-June. "We are happy that Carla is joining our team. I’m convinced that she is a great enrichment for all of us and that she will benefit from personal development in the professional business together with us”, said Thomas Campana, Team Manager of the Cervélo-Lifeforce Pro Cycling Team.
