Team Flexpoint 2008 Gilmore signs 1 year contract with Dutch squad Team
Flexpoint added a new rider to its team during the mid-year transfer period.
Rochelle Gilmore will join the team from June 15. The Australian sprinter
has taken many high profile victories in her career, including
the Geelong World Cup, a stage in the Route de France and three stages in
the Canadian stage race, the
Tour de PEI (as recently as last week). The 26 year old tranfers from the
Italian Menikini-Selle Italia team and has signed a contract for one season
with the team of manager Jean-Paul van Poppel. Gilmore
will make her debut for the team in the Dutch stage race, the Ster Zeeuwsche
Eilanden
which starts on Thursday 19 June in
