Stage 6 supporting race Lygon Street, Melbourne, criterium, 45 minutes
The women turned it on for the 45 minute showdown in Melbourne's Italian centre - Lygon Street. Breakaways were attempted and eventually, a group stayed away. It was an easy job for Belinda Goss to take the sprint, but she was chased hard up the finishing straight by Chloe McConnville. Peta Mullens was third, taking the overall series and the Amy Gillett Cup.
