The organisers of the Pro Cycling Tour offers cycling fans a Happy New Year gift – specially priced, discounted tickets to the June 8^th, Commerce Bank Philadelphia International Championship and Liberty Classic. But they are only available until February 15^th.

“Many people call us, asking how they can get a ride up to the Manayunk Wall during the race, or get into the VIP tents,” says David Chauner, director of PCT. “We created the VIP tickets to satisfy that demand and we want to offer these special tickets now as an incentive for cycling fans to plan their summer schedule and be part of the VIP experience.”

More than 250 of the world’s top men and women professional cyclists will descend on Philadelphia for the crown jewel and final leg of the 2008 Commerce Bank Triple Crown of Cycling – the Philadelphia International Championship and Liberty Classic on Sunday, June 8, 2008 from 9am to 3pm.

The Philadelphia International Championship race, celebrating its 24th year and noted for The Manayunk Wall, is the biggest and longest running, one-day professional cycling event in North America. It’s also one of Philadelphia’s biggest special events and will draw not only the best teams in the USA but some of the strongest teams from South America, Canada and Europe.

Order tickets now through to February 15^th to take advantage of the special early-bird rate of $110 per ticket, or $99 per ticket if four or more tickets are purchased. After February 15^th tickets will be sold for $125 each. VIP ticket holders will be in the centre of the action while enjoying:

VIP access means dining on Eakin’s Oval with spectacular, up close and personal, views of the sport’s international elite. And, it means not missing a minute of the action as the cyclists complete 10 laps of a 14.4 mile circuit through Philadelphia with a final three laps of Lemon Hill and Logan’s Circle.
