Marta Vilajosana to represent Spain at Track Worlds

Italian team's rider takes to the boards

World Track Champs - 29 March - 1 April, Majorca, Spain

Marta Vilajosana will turn her pedals for the first time as a rider in Team Dilà Guerciotti Cogeas in March. The Spaniard, from the Catalan region, will be representing her country at the World Track Championships in Majorca, from 29 March until 1 April. 

"To race in front of my 'home' crowd will give me the greatest pleasure," commented the Spaniard, "I have already participated in track races, during January, with the Spanish National team. I hope to use that experience to obtain a great result in Majorca." Vilajosana will compete in the pursuit and the points race.
