Buitenpoort-Flexpoint becomes Team Flexpoint

New name, same management, some rider changes for 2007

Four new signings join Jean-Paul van Poppel's squad

Team Website

Flexpoint Uitzenden, Detacheren and Werving & Selectie will become the new main sponsor of the professional women's cycling team, led by Jean-Paul van Poppel. The successful team, which has had lots of success the past two years, will be known in the future as Team Flexpoint.

Buitenpoort Catering has decided to follow the team from the sideline after lots of victories and beautiful memories in the past two years.

Manager Jean-Paul van Poppel is happy with the extension to the other sponsor contracts. Van Poppel commented "The cooperation with Flexpoint was very optimal in the past two seasons. It's important for the team that the continuation is guaranteed."

Team Flexpoint has four new names for 2007: Loës Markerink, Iris Slappendel, Mie Bekker Lacota and Trine Schmidt Hansen. Departures from the team are : Tanja Hennes, Vera Koedooder, Sandra Rombouts, Linda Villumsen, Elsbeth Vink.
