Bike NZ media announcement Mark Elliot appointed Elliott
has eleven years of experience within high performance sport in Elliott

has also had recent high performance advisory roles for Swimming New
Zealand and as part of the 2008 NZOC Beijing Planning Group. “BikeNZ
is very happy to recruit Mark to a lead position within our team”, said Elliott
said, “I have been privileged to work across a number of High
Performance “teams” over the last 10 years.
I see this opportunity as a challenge to create a truly World Class
High Performance Programme that supports cyclists, coaches and their
support staff to develop and succeed on the
International stage”. “It
will be an extremely challenging role working across the diverse sports of
Road, Track, BMX and mountain biking within the BikeNZ group. However I
have always been a person who enjoys a challenge and when you consider the
cycling talent across the BikeNZ programme, the opportunities are
exciting”. Elliot
begins his role on June 18.
