Bike the Bays Rides for all abilities in Auckland March 25, Auckland, NZ - pre-registration and entry on the day Event details and online entry
Bike the Bays Race For the first time a race will be held starting at 7.00am along Tamaki Drive while the roads are closed to everyday traffic. The race, which is designed for more experienced riders is approx 48km. Bike the Bays Ride At 9.00am the more traditional non competitive Bike the Bays race begins, where riders can choose between one or two laps of Tamaki Drive, about 16 or 32km respectively. Kids Ride There is also the 10.00am Kids ride around Okahu Park. Kids can ride around Okahu park on an especially designed track. There are plenty of other giveaways and spot prizes.
Adults are $25, children - 13 years and under - $10, or Families (2 adults and 2 children) are $60. Orca Schools Challenge - the school that enters the most riders win Orca prize pack valued at $2000. Avanti Corporate Challenge - the organisation that enters the most riders will win 3 Avanti Bikes, 3 helmets and 3 cycle tops. On the day entry at Orakei Domain also available.
