Points Race

A star studded line up of New Zealand's best female cyclists fought out the women's 20km points race, with defending champion Jo Kiesanowski narrowly beating Catherine Cheatley. The result was decided in the final sprint when Kiesanowski narrowly beat Cheatley, giviing her a total of 18 points, with Cheatley and Katri Laike both finishing on 17.
