Caroline Kearney Irish rider killed in road accident in Nice From Derek Patterson Caroline Kearney, a triathlete who had just competed for Ireland in the European Triathlete Championships was out training with her club, Montpellier Triathlon, when she was knocked down and killed on June 28th. Several of her team-mates suffered injuries, but none critically. Caroline came from Swords, near Dublin in Ireland. She was buried on Thursday 6 July in Glasnevin. She had raced for Swords CC in Ireland and had competed in the Irish Ladies Boot Inn league. WomensCycling.net send our condolences to Caroline's friends and family
