Selection squad announced

Cycling Australia is pleased to announce the National Track Squad from which the Cyclones team to contest the 2006 Track Cycling World Championships will be selected. The Championships are being staged in Bordeaux, France from April 13 to 16.

The period for cyclists to record times or results to become eligible for selection in the team ended at 6pm on Sunday March 5th. All riders in the Squad below have satisfied the criteria for selection as per the Selection Policy available on the Cycling Australia website.

Cycling Australia, on March 6th, advised it's members of an an amendment to the schedule for announcing the final team to contest the World Championships. In effect, the amendment means the Squad will be reduced to the final team to contest the world championships after the conclusion of the Commonwealth Games track competition program.
