The migration continues - as Northern Hemisphere birds head south for the winter, so too do the hemisphere's track riders. The Tasmanian Christmas Carnivals have confirmed that British rider, Claire Dixon has been contracted to ride the series.

Dixon's palmares is impressive, in a release by the organisers, it is revealed that she has won thirteen medals at National level and represented Great Britain at the World Championships.  She has ridden professionally for the number one women’s team in the world “Acca Due O” which is based in Italy in the past. She has apparently been making a comeback in 2005.
