Northern Ireland Women's League 2006

Supported by WomensCycling.net  &  Cycling Ulster

Road race and time trial league for novices and experienced riders

Cycling Ulster Website

WomensCycling.net has been supporting the Northern Ireland women's league for several years. The league is designed to encourage novices to race, as well as providing race opportunities for more experienced riders. It is intended that there will be a development in women's racing by providing a platform from which novice women cyclists in Ulster could experience racing with other women in an enjoyable environment, where it is not necessary to line up against the men each week.

This has proved to be so popular that most organisers have responded to the demand and now promote separate women's races as a viable addition to their race day. There are now women's races most weekends in Ulster. A big thank you to all organisers.
