Port la Nouvelle - Port la Nouvelle 5.5km Individual Time Trial

The weather was kind to the riders for this short time trial. Conditions were good, the temperature was in the mid- 20'c and there was a breeze. A large crowd came to the seaside town of Port La Nouvelle to see the thrid stage of the Tour.

The race lead was transferred back from Susanne Ljungskog to team-mate, Loes Gunnewijk. Gunnewijk won the stage. The Buitenpoort-Flexpoint team will be happy tonight, Madeleine Sandig is still in the young rider's jersey.
