News World Standings - October 2005
The UCI World Road Standings - Individuals Click here to view UCI World Road Rankings for countries and teams Released regularly by the UCI, this list provides a league table of riders, related to performances in all sanctioned events (not just the World Cup) The road standings for October reveal a change in the second and third ranked riders - Suzanne Ljungskog has moved up to second, ahead of 2004 road World Champion, Judith Arndt. Winner of the World Cup and bronze medallist at the road World Championships, Oenone Wood also takes the honour of top road rider with her first place in the table. 2005 road World Champion, Regina Schleicher, moved up from tenth to sixth overall, whilst silver medallist at the Madrid World Championships has moved from 12th to eighth overall.
