Emma Davies Jones out of hospital and improving rapidly
Vlaanderen-Capri Sonne professional looking forward to riding static trainer soon
Emma Davies Jones, who was recently injured in a hit-and-run accident whilst riding to the Manchester Velodrome (click here for story) is out of hospital and improving quickly.
In a general email to her fans, Emma thanked everyone who had sent messages of support and commended the medical team at Hope Hospital's spinal injury unit in Salford (near Manchester).
Emma is apparently walking and climbing stairs and is looking forward to riding her static trainer (gently) in the near future.
Emma Davies Jones is hoping to recover in time to ride the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne in March 2006.
