Suzanne De Goede - an under 23 rider - heads the latest UCI rankings. She has performed consistently since the start of the season in Australia and New Zealand.

These rankings include all UCI races and are a barometer to overall performance. Don't confuse the rankings with the World Cup, which is a series of 11 nominated events throughout the season which are also awarded points based on performance. The overall road rankings include the World Cup performances, but these are just a part of the overall calculation. For the latest World Cup standings, click here

Following De Goede in the rankings are Oenone Wood, Mirjam Melchers-Van Poppel and Susanne Ljungskog - all riders who began their 2005 campaigns in Australia in January.

Seventh in the list is Britain's Nicole Cooke, a solid performance from the only rider in the top 10 who waited until Aprill - after the Australian and New Zealand event to begin her season. Cooke's first race was the Primavera Rosa in Italy.
