Molly Swann
Ex-international competitor and president of the UK's Women's Cycle Racing Association has died After a long illness, Molly Swann died on Tuesday morning. Molly battled a brain tumour for much of last year and spent a long time in hospital, including undergoing surgery late in 2004. Molly was long-serving president of the Women's Cycle Racing Association (the WCRA) and one of the first British women to race overseas in the 1950's - in a period when they had to battle for the right to do so and when there was little National Federation support forthcoming.
