Macpherson claims podium position for real....

Riding in the scratch race event postponed from the Bendigo Madison a couple of weeks ago, Jenny Macpherson climbed to the top position on the podium to take Scratch Race Champion title for 2004 in the Australian state of Victoria.

This win comes after her obvious  embarrassment of being called to  the podium for  third place on the final stage of the Geelong Tour. It was subsequently discovered that the judges had mistakenly identified her instead of Petra Rossner, but  Macpherson was definite winner at the Blackburn velodrome today. 

Second place went to Jessica Berry in the event which had been called off due to rain in Bendigo.
