won her 48th National Championship at the weekend. She has also booked her
place on the French Road Race team for Athens 2004. She beat silver
medallist Elisabeth
Chevanne-Brunel and bronze medallist Sandrine Marcuz-Moreau by
just over a minute. Finishing with these two was Karine Dalmais. The remainder
of the field was split into small groups of riders finishing together. Gold
medallist from the time trial, Edwige
Pitel - who beat Longo by 48 seconds against the clock on Thursday, was 6th overall
