Race Results Australian Madison Championships - Women's Support Events 10 laps motorpace & 12 laps scratch Motorpace Jenny Macpherson, who was crowned Vistorian State Scratch Race Champion earlier in the day, easily took the sprint from Tasmanian Belinda Goss. Jessica Tanner took third and Catherine Allen was fourth. Race time for the 10 laps was 3:17:316 Macpherson was pleased with the ride, which capped her successful day on the track. She commented afterwards that the tiring effects of the Geelong events in February had now worn off and she had felt good in training this week. She was obviously strong today. Jenny is looking forward to competing in the upcoming Australian National Championships. RESULTS
Scratch Race Jessica Berry got the better of her on-form rivals to take the 12 lap scratch race. She outsprinted Jenny Macpherson - to reverse the State Championship finishing order earlier in the day - and also beat noted young track rider, Belinda Goss in the process. Catherine Allen completed a brace of fourths for the evening. RESULTS
