UK National Cyclo Cross Championships

Isla Rowntree continued her domination of the women's cyclo cross scene with an emphatic victory in this year's championship. Silver medallist was Victoria Wilkinson, who beat Rowntree in the 4th round of the National Series (Rowntree won all other rounds); the result was not a surprise in that respect. Third place, bronze medallist, was Nikki Harris, who tried to go with the increasing pace set by Rowntree, but she was unable. In fact, she was overtaken by Wilkinson for the silver medal, although the result was never in doubt, the medallists finished over 2 minutes ahead of the rest of the field.
