Worlds 2003 Road Course
With still 10 months to the world titles in Canada, some details of the road course in Hamilton have been revealed which will be totally different to the Zolder course.
'Tough' is one word that has been used, with its two climbs on each 12 kilometre lap for the road race with at least 100 metres climbing on each of the hills. The time trial course for women will feature the first climb which will be at the start of the trial with mainly flat before the descent to the finish.
Certainly the American team will be concentrated to produce a winner this close to home as the course is generally expected to favour the strong road rider rather than a sprinter.
