Riders Required
TQ Paper 2 Day Stage Race
Dublin, 5 & 6 October 2002
This, the final race of the season-long UK Team Series, brings several teams to compete against local Irish riders. In addition, teams have been invited from Germany and the Netherlands, providing an international aspect to the competition. Individual riders will also be competing in this famous event.
The organisers would like to make the event even larger than last year and are keen to hear from riders wishing to make the journey to the home of Guiness. In fact, hospitality at the event is legendary. 2 nights accomodation*, meals at lunchtime on each day and the friendliest of welcomes make this event one to end the season with. Police escort for the peleton along with usual motorcycle marshalls and static marshalls provide a safe, well-signposted event.
The event is sponsored by TQ Papers, a local company.
Stage Details -
Saturday morning - 75km circuit race on 8km circuit
Saturday afternoon - 2km time trial
Sunday morning - 70km road stage through the local area
