Update from Malcolm Firth - 28-06-02

So far the weather has not been suitable, winds in the wrong direction and quite a lot of rain during the period when she had intended to go (26th June).

However, the long range weather forecast for Tuesday 2nd July is looking more favourable with possible south west winds of up to 20mph. Organiser Jim Turner says that he will get another forecast in a couple of days to see if things still seem OK.

Malcolm will endeavour to keep the web site news at www.abcc.freeserve.co.uk up to date and once the attempt gets under way there will be regular reports on Lynne's progress.
