The Tour of Cardinia, is primarily a Junior 19 men and women's selection race for Australian  selectors to consider rides for their team for the Junior worlds

 Cycling Australia asked the organiser to make the event a Category 2 national event for women, which he has done and now has a total of 34 women - Junior and Senior categories. (Last weekend in Perth W.A they held a Category 1 event for women and only got 6.)

 

Later on in the year Chris is organising the Baw Baw Classic which is a 1 day road race, this is also for women and carries the Victorian mountain climb Championship. (Further info to follow - Webmaster)
