Anyone who rode in the stage race at Bangor - Northern Ireland, two years ago will remember it as great racing and a terrific weekend of sport and great fun as well.
Organiser Ian is putting on a one day race on Saturday 20 July which originally was for the countries coming for the Commonwealth Games but with Australia, Canada, New Zealand etc staying in Europe the competition will not be as high but will still make a terrific weekend for any riders who want to race in an almost International field, it is expected that teams like Bermuda will ride.
The race will be 50 miles, 5 laps which goes right through Bangor each lap, 15 police motorbikes to give a smooth passage for the race, thousands of spectators, loads of prize money, free accommodation so this is one not to miss. The plan is that riders will cross on Friday 19 July and return on Sunday 21 in the afternoon; Ferry passage has been booked already
Organiser Ian Henry finalised the prize list today. It is one of the best in women's racing all year.
Team Prize will be £75 for the winning team
